Three capes, three routes

Hero CapePlay the first Dungeons, then log into II on the same Microsoft account within the promotion.
Soul CapeDeluxe Edition cosmetic.
Twisted CapeQualifying pre-order cosmetic; confirm the entitlement on the same account.

Claim the Hero Cape

  1. Use the Microsoft account with which you played the original Minecraft Dungeons. Game Pass and Steam play can qualify.
  2. Log into Minecraft Dungeons II on that same Microsoft account before the promotion deadline.
  3. Check the entitlement in Dungeons II, then in Java or Bedrock using that same account. Those games are separate products.
  4. Allow for processing delays. If the reward remains absent, check the account match and contact support rather than repeating purchases.

A past play session can count

You do not need to replay the original if your account already has qualifying play history. Joining a friend’s co-op session can also qualify when you use the same Microsoft account. Guest play without the correct account is not a substitute for that identity check.

Before spending money for a cape

Read the Deluxe comparison so you do not confuse Soul Cape with Hero Cape. The save-mode guide explains account identity; the couch co-op checklist explains bringing a signed-in hero to a friend’s device.
