From watching to a Minecraft cape

  1. Sign in to the streaming platform you want to use. Choose a Minecraft Dungeons II livestream with rewards enabled; watching an unrelated stream or a replay does not meet the live-watch requirement.
  2. Meet that platform’s viewing requirement and check its reward area for the redemption code. On Twitch, use Drops Inventory; on TikTok, check Notifications.
  3. Open Minecraft’s official redemption page and use the Microsoft account on which you want the cape. Redeem the code there rather than posting it in a public code-request thread.
  4. Sign in to Minecraft: Java or Bedrock Edition using that Microsoft account. Looking in your Dungeons II cosmetics will not reveal this reward, because Aurora belongs to Minecraft.

Watching and redeeming have separate deadlines

The live-watching promotion ends October 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST. A code you received must be redeemed by October 31, 2026. These are the promotion’s deadlines, rather than a guarantee that every stream or region distributes codes. Supplies and eligibility are limited; do not leave both steps until the final moment.

Redeemed, but looking in the wrong gameAurora is for Java/Bedrock. Dungeons II rewards such as Hero, Soul and Twisted have different eligibility routes.

Do not depend on a shared code

The promotion limits Aurora to one code per person/Microsoft account, and codes are non-transferable. Use the reward route for your own account rather than buying or exchanging a stranger’s code. Deluxe Edition is a separate product: the edition comparison explains its cosmetics without confusing them with this livestream reward.

Plan the rest of your session

Capes & eligibility: Keep Hero Cape eligibility, Deluxe Soul Cape and Twisted pre-order rewards separate, with the account steps and Hero Cape deadline.

Supported platforms: Compare the supported PC and console versions, native Mac and mobile availability, Steam Deck status and online multiplayer requirements.
